IDENTITY PALETTE

 

Kibe Nduni is a Kenyan photographer whose art welcomes the introduces world of wonders and limitless imagination. In his artistic practice, he uses colour and light and experiments with various forms of visual storytelling to create a new African narrative capable of conveying the experiences of both the artist and the entire community. While depicting characters in the photos – often young Africans – the artist alludes to his youth and coming-of-age in the ever-changing Africa. In 2022, his photographic project Mukamiti Era 2060, created in collaboration with the stylist and models, was published in “Nataal,” a periodical devoted to current African art.

William Malawi is a Kenyan-American photographer, stylist, and artist currently based in Pennsylvania. He is known for his vibrant portraits, in which he experiments with colour while remaining minimalist to create spellbound images.
