Each peer-reviewed article is evaluated by one reviewer specialising in the subject of the article, in accordance with the principles of double-blind review<\/strong>. It may occur that the same person reviews articles on related topics.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In justified cases, a single-blind review<\/strong> may be used. This applies when the author is easily identifiable \u2013 for example, as the only or one of very few specialists in a highly niche field, as a Museum employee working with a given collection, or as a curator writing about an exhibition of their own authorship. Each such case is assessed individually by the journal\u2019s Editorial Team.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Editor-in-Chief makes the final decision on the publication of an article.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Publisher offers remuneration to article reviewers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
