Birthdays

Birthdays are special days for the birthday boy or girl, and we want to help you arrange it to guarantee amazing memories for the children and their guests!

We offer birthday parties in the form of a field game within the exhibition spaces of the State Ethnographic Museum in Warsaw. Our fun will focus on travel, but not only. During the birthday party, the group will have a great time, but also learn about elements of world cultures. They will become familiar with the museum as an institution and – we hope – catch the bug for exploring the surrounding reality!

Themes to choose from: “Museum Travelers and the Time Machine” or “Museum Detectives and the Lost Exhibit”
Dates: Saturdays and Sundays from 11:00 AM to 6:00 PM – individually arranged depending on the birthday theme
Age: 5-12 years old
Maximum number of participants: 20 children (excluding guardians)
Duration: 2.5 hours (approx. 1.5 hours of animation according to the chosen script + 50 min. optionally for refreshments in the small hall)

The Museum provides:

1. group animations based on an original script implemented by an educator,
2. artistic and educational materials needed for the animations.
3. a small hall for organizing birthday refreshments equipped with:

• electric kettle,
• beverage pitchers,
• glass bowls for fruit, chips, etc.,
• trays for cookies,
• cake stand + cake server,
• cups for hot drinks,
• colorful oilcloth tablecloths
• decorations including: colorful cotton balls, garlands

1. a gift from the PME for the birthday child
2. specially prepared invitations for guests to be collected at the reception,
3. entrance tickets to exhibitions for birthday guests (30 pcs)

Other information:

1. during the birthday activities, the group should be accompanied by (min. 1) guardian from the ordering party,
2. meals for the birthday part in the small hall are the responsibility of the ordering party,
3. any candles on the cake should have a small flame due to smoke detectors in the museum,
4. the ordering party has the option to decorate the hall according to their own wishes at their own expense. However, consultation with the museum is necessary,
5. disposable plates, cutlery, and napkins are the responsibility of the ordering party.
