Shawn N. Hounkpatin is a multidisciplinary artist from Benin. He is a photographer and film director. Inspired by the world of cinema, he raises issues deeply rooted in the culture and social life of Benin and, more broadly, Africa. Since 2022, he has worked as a photographer and visual artist at UNICEF. His photos have been published on the Photo Vogue website. Through his work, he wishes to contribute to the development of the photography and art industry in Africa, while remaining humble and open-minded in his approach to each project.

Maganga Mwagogo is a Kenyan photographer and film director. In his artistic practice, he focuses primarily on documenting and celebrating various African life experiences. Using documentary photography, Mwagogo undermines stereotypical representations created by non-African societies and provides his audience with an image of flourishing and optimistic African societies.

Kiboko Kamau is a Kenyan artist and curator who divides his time between Nairobi and Paris. He creates large-format figurative works using a mixed technique called Kata kata. In his art, he inspects themes connected to identity, provenance, cultural narratives, and property. Kamau established Ifreecans Collective and co-founded Studio Ifreecans and Studio Nooma, which are creative platforms fostering multidisciplinary, intercultural projects. His works were exhibited, i.a., in Saatchi Gallery, Harrow Arts Centre, Remp-Arts Gallery, The Rag Factory, Candid Arts Galleries, Original Gallery, Little Antiques Fair, Society of Black Lawyers, Artists Open Studies in Laguna Beach, Arte De Los Muertos in San Francisco, and during Nairobi Design Week.

James Muriuki is a Kenyan artist specialising in the broadly understood mediums of photography and film. In the scope of his interest are societies of the Global South in the process of economic and cultural transformation. Muriuki’s works were often exhibited, published, and included in numerous collections worldwide. The artist collaborated with other creators, participated in residences and workshops both nationally and abroad, received numerous grants, and participated in programs organised by MoMa and Centre for Curatorial Leadership, Fellowship and Training in New York.

Solomon Kyalo is a Kenyan photographer and a socio-politically engaged creator. In his artistic practice, he combines art and activism, trying to induce social change. His art, exceeding mere documentation, provokes consideration and reflection by confronting the audience with still audible echoes of colonial heritage.
Neema Ngelime is a documentary photographer and filmmaker born in Tanzania. In her works, she tries to capture the beauty of the everyday from a feminist perspective. The scope of her artistic interest includes the life of African women, with particular attention paid to their intimate, personal experiences and social roles imposed on them in the 21st century. The artist presented her films in prestigious international festivals like Oberhausen, IDFA, and Beldocs.
