CREATIVE TALES

A series of family-friendly meetings held in the educational space of the temporary exhibition „Afrotopias”. Each session is inspired by a different book, written by authors from Africa or from other Black communities outside the continent. During the event, we will read selected excerpts from the book together and then create original art pieces that reflect elements of its story.

ABOUT THE EVENT

At the next meeting in the series, we will read “Antiracist Baby by Ibram X. Kendi. We’ll talk about the incredible diversity of people around the world and why it’s important to celebrate it. We’ll also reflect on what racism is, how to identify it, and how to actively challenge it in everyday life.

In the second part of the session, we will create collages. Through these artworks, we’ll express our visions of a world built on equality, mutual understanding, and openness to others.
