ABOUT EVENT
We warmly invite you to a family tour of the „Afrotopias” exhibition. During this family event, we will offer inspiring activities for younger participants, so that together with their parents and guardians, they can explore the rich world of contemporary art from African countries, full of emotions, colors, and inspiring stories. We will create a welcoming environment where children can ask questions and share their observations in a safe atmosphere.
The works of artists featured in the „Afrotopias” exhibition are primarily artistic photographs that speak through metaphor and stylization. They address universal issues such as evolving visual sensitivity, attitudes towards one’s customs, spirituality, and cultural practices, the struggles of shaping gender identity, the paradoxes of modern capitalism, and the relationship with nature in the face of the climate crisis.
