Kulturalna Szkoła na Mazowszu
Under this programme, pupils from primary and secondary schools in the Mazovian Voivodeship may take part in the State Museum of Ethnography in Warsaw’s educational offer for a symbolic fee of 1 PLN per person. The programme runs from 1 January to 31 December 2025.
Conditions of participation
To take part, schools must submit a completed application form. The School Director or Deputy Director must sign the form. It must be submitted no later than the day of the lesson, either in paper form or electronically with a qualified electronic signature. Forms submitted electronically without a qualified signature cannot be accepted. Forms from previous years will not be accepted.
Who can take part?
The programme is open to:
- primary schools,
- general secondary schools
- technical secondary schools,
- Stage I vocational schools
- art schools providing general education at the primary level,
- art schools providing general education at the secondary level,
- children required to complete one year of preschool preparation in a preschool, a preschool class within a primary school, or another form of preschool education,
whose registered seat is located within the Mazovian Voivodeship.
To participate, you must:
- Purchase a lesson via the online ticketing system at bilety.ethnomuseum.pl or make a booking (telephone: 510 336 571; email: rezerwacje@ethnomuseum.pl The Reservation Office is open Monday–Thursday, 8:30–15:30.
- Complete the application form and affix all required official stamps.
- Ensure the form includes a full, legible signature of the School Director or Deputy Director. According to formal standards, an initial cannot be accepted as a valid signature.
- Provide the exact number of participants — the information entered in the form is binding.
- A maximum of 25 pupils and four accompanying adults may take part in one museum lesson.
- A maximum of 20 pupils and four accompanying adults may participate in culinary workshops.
- The cost of participation is 1 PLN per person (for both pupils and accompanying adults).
- Only the number of persons indicated in the form will be admitted.
- The fee applies to the number of persons listed in the form and does not change even if fewer participants attend.
- Submit the completed form no later than the day of the lesson, either in paper form or electronically (with a qualified electronic signature).
- If the lesson date is rescheduled, update the date on the form accordingly.
Museum Lessons
A museum is a place for discovery, experience, and curiosity. For the coming year, we have prepared a new and diverse programme of museum lessons designed for different age groups. The offer includes sessions on contemporary Africa, festivals around the world, historical customs, play, music, mindful shopping, and the role of nature in human life. We value creative activities and open conversation. Museum lessons at the State Museum of Ethnography in Warsaw are an excellent way to learn through play, nurture curiosity, and create positive cultural experiences.
