There is no single set route. Every visitor decides for themselves how they would like to explore the Museum!

If you need guidance, we encourage you to consult the Museum plan, available on-site or online. Maps are displayed near the lifts and main communication routes. A printed map can also be collected from the stand in the main lobby. Our security and ticket desk staff are always happy to help.

It depends on how much time you would like to spend with us and which exhibitions interest you the most! We present both permanent and temporary exhibitions, and the latter change regularly. They vary in scope, scale, and level of detail.

If you would like to explore all exhibitions attentively, we recommend reserving at least 2 hours. But a friendly warning: many visitors stay much longer!

We do not take reservations for individual admission. Tickets can be purchased at the Museum ticket desk or online.

Our public programme events programme events – such as guided tours and workshops – are very popular and often sell out in advance. To ensure a place, we recommend purchasing tickets early.

Museum lessons are the only activity for which we accept advance bookings. More information is available here.
