- Location
The State Museum of Ethnography in Warsaw is housed in a historic building in the very heart of the city. We are located approximately 850 metres from the Palace of Culture and Science. The Museum borders directly on the Zachęta National Gallery of Art, and nearby you will find the Saxon Garden and Piłsudski Square. Within a short distance — around 500 metres — lie the Main Campus of the University of Warsaw and the famous historic streets of Krakowskie Przedmieście and Nowy Świat
The central location makes it quick and convenient to reach the Museum. Numerous bus and tram stops, metro stations, and the Central Railway Station are situated nearby, making the State Museum of Ethnography easily accessible — both for visitors living in Warsaw and those coming from elsewhere.
Just in front of the Museum entrance, several parking spaces are available, including designated spaces for persons with disabilities (managed by the road administrator).
