Visit the National Ethographic Museum in Warsaw – a fascinating place full of amazing objects. Discover the diversity of Polish culture and the cultures of the world. Ethnographic Museum means colours, shapes, scents, sounds, and stories transporting you in time and space. We love questions! Ask them and we’ll seek the answers – together. Anything is possible with the amazing collection of over 80,000 unique objects from all over the world and with our shared passion of everything ethnographic. The classes are conducted in the Children’s Museum and in the Ethnography Labs of the National Ethnographic Museum in Warsaw, right in the centre of Warsaw, in Kredytowa 1.
CHILDREN’S MUSEUM
The first Polish Ethnographic Museum dedicated to children, with its own exhibitions and innovative educational program. In Children’s Museum everyone can be themselves, have fun, ask questions and tap their creativity. Our activities focus on discovering the rituals of every day and holidays.
The classes in Children’s Museum merge learning with fun and allow children to experience culture with all their senses. Interesting and inspiring presentations of collections, workshops, creative group or individual activities, these are just a few examples of how we spend time.
We also offer interactive concerts and cooking classes.
ETHNOGRAPHY LABS
Recognized and appreciated education spaces offering interesting ethnographic objects to see and forgotten art techniques to learn. Here, you will realize how fast our world is changing and that tradition can be a source of inspiration. Museum classes are varied, the discussed topics are explained through different, but connected cognitive, kinestethic, and manual activities. Children participate in traditional games, solve tasks, create art inspired by the objects from the museum’s collections
